We as a coach have two roles in the team; we are teachers in order to teach players the game of volleyball and help them to learn, our another role is to lead them to change and so we will produce better brain (better players and better persons). We will teach what we know but we will reproduce who we are! So it is very important who we really are? What is our personality? What are our habits? What is our mindset? What do we think? What do we say? What do we do?
By processing data, we gain useful information and by applying this information in drill design, developing players, build up the team and scouting the opponent, we convert this information to valuable knowledge that help us to produce something good or add value to players and the team. Wisdom comes from doing and doing this process and gain deep understating that will help us to innovate.
Wisdom comes from experience that is based on knowledge This type of experience is result of deep thinking about what is right in this situation and make decision and do what we think is correct, and then evaluating what we did in order to make better decision and think clearly and honestly that what could we do better? And next time do smarter. So the wisdom is a crown on the head of hardworking, learning, courage.
Wise coach always tries to build the best possible coach from himself/herself, because he/she knows that before develop great players and productive team, he/she must be able to transform to great coach.
